The team that collected the most points at the end was rescued from the island. During the games, the teams moved around the island on a virtual map and advanced from the beach further and further into the jungle.

From July 21 to 24, 2022, the opponents were competing in Krefeld to determine the winner of the HomeStory Cup XXI.

One of the top favorites was Joona “Serral” Sotala, who had already won the last three HomeStory Cups.

His surprising detour through the lower bracket should not keep him from participating in the Grand Final.

The Zerg player faced Team Liquid’s Clément “Clem” Desplanches and forced a bracket reset.

In the deciding match, he then left no stone unturned with a 2-0 victory and made his fourth success in a row perfect and was allowed to lift the brand-new trophy!

After more than two years, players, guests and casters were also be back on site, taking the event to a new level.

We are excited to be a part of it all again!
