Innovative high performance

In the XMG PRO 16 Studio, NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 40 graphics cards provide you with innovative features and high performance for GPU-accelerated, professional workloads or demanding blockbuster games. In addition to the very powerful RTX 4070, the default option RTX 4060 already offers plenty of performance. Based on dedicated tensor and ray tracing cores, NVIDIA’s laptop graphics cards unlock advanced features in compatible creative applications. These include lightning-fast, AI-based technologies for automatic image enhancement and ray tracing effects. Combined with the Studio driver developed specifically for creatives, the result is customised top performance.

Boasting 24 cores, 32 threads, and a boost clock of up to 5.8 GHz, Intel’s fastest laptop CPU for demanding creative tasks and gaming epitomises the zenith of current technological advancement. As a member of the HX series, it shares the same design as the most potent desktop processors.

High performance - quietly cooled

Thanks to a highly efficient vapor chamber, the compact, thin XMG PRO 16 Studio excels with impressively quiet cooling – for relaxed and distraction-free working or even gaming. The large heat sink covers both the CPU and GPU as well as surrounding components such as the voltage regulators. Even under continuous load, you can expect maximum performance and quiet operation. The ideal balance of these features is offered by the “Entertainment mode” performance profile, while in “Performance mode” you can get the last reserves out of your CPU if necessary.

High-resolution 16:10 display

The lightning-fast display of the XMG PRO 16 Studio convinces both gamers and creatives. The practical 16:10 format gives you more vertical viewing space and makes your software even more user-friendly, for example by allowing you to display additional toolbars in photo or video editing software.

Colour calibration powered by X-Rite

The factory-calibrated IPS display covers over 95 % of the sRGB colour space – a guarantee for first-class display quality in professional, colour-accurate image editing. In the X-Rite software, you can also choose from various profiles optimized for your application.

Ultra-smooth gaming at 240 Hz

A resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels paired with a refresh rate of 240 Hz provides a razor-sharp and smooth display of your games – without any tearing or stuttering. A MUX switch allows you to manually switch the connection of the bright display between the energy-efficient Iris Xe graphics chip from Intel and the dedicated high-performance graphics card from NVIDIA to get the maximum FPS out of your games.

All the connectivity you need

With its large number of external ports, the XMG PRO 16 Studio offers extensive connectivity and expansion options. Thunderbolt 4, USB-C 3.2, two USB-A 3.2, fast network connections via 2.5 Gigabit ethernet or Wi-Fi 6E and a microSD card reader – this content creation workstation leaves nothing to be desired. Separate inputs and outputs for headphones (headset-compatible) and microphone complete the range of features, as do several video interfaces, which are located collectively at the back of the laptop.

Thunderbolt 4

Thunderbolt 4 is much more than a high-speed interface for data exchange with the fastest external SSDs. With its integrated DisplayPort streams coupled to the efficient iGPU, the port allows you to output images to two 4K-capable external monitors or even connect to the most powerful, multifunctional docking stations. This allows you to connect your laptop to your work environment in a flash and with just one cable – including multi-monitor setups, network connection, printer, mouse and keyboard.

Native connectivity for

In professional environments, multi-monitor setups boost productivity and are also increasingly used in gaming and streaming systems. The XMG PRO 16 Studio can natively drive up to three external displays in addition to its internal display: via HDMI 2.1, Mini DisplayPort 1.4 and a DisplayPort-enabled Thunderbolt 4 port. While the first two are directly connected to the powerful NVIDIA dGPU and thus support G-SYNC, NVIDIA Surround and current VR headsets, the DisplayPort stream of the Thunderbolt port operates via the efficient iGPU from Intel – the rendering of computationally intensive 3D content then still runs on the faster NVIDIA graphics card.

Advanced security features

Safety first

A Full HD webcam with Temporal Noise Reduction not only enables clear image transmission in video conferences, but also supports a secure, biometric log-in procedure thanks to Windows Hello compatibility. In addition to a Kensington Lock, the XMG PRO 16 Studio comes with a tamper-proof hardware based TPM 2.0 module for a secure, trusted computing platform. This is used, for example, to manage cryptographic keys for encrypting internal or external storage devices via Bitlocker.

Up to 64 GB RAM & two M.2 SSDs

High-end memory options

In terms of memory the XMG PRO 16 Studio stands out with maximum flexibility and allows high-end configurations that fully meet professional demands. Two SO-DIMM slots and M.2 sockets with PCI Express 4.0 connection allow for up to 64 GB DDR5 RAM and the utilisation of the highest-speed SSDs for gaming and workstation laptops. As the inside of the chassis is freely accessible, it is possible to upgrade at a later time.

Precise input devices

The multi-typist precision keyboard of the XMG PRO 16 Studio boasts a highly functional full-size design with a dedicated number pad, full-size arrow keys and a good typing experience. Even in a dark work environment, the keys are always easy to read thanks to a colour-adjustable LED backlight. A comfortable touchpad, compliant with Microsoft Precision standards, allows for precise execution of all inputs. Its specially processed surface exhibits significantly improved gliding characteristics.
