AMD RYZEN
Desktop Processors

The XMG APEX 15 utilises the unique performance of AMD’s Ryzen series desktop processors – thus a socketed instead of the usually soldered models found in similar laptops. In the top specced version, the Ryzen 9 3950X is a brutish 16-core CPU with multithreading support, that operates in Eco Mode with a TDP of 65 watts.
The 7nm fabricated AMD Zen 2 processors are not only top class in multi-core, parallel optimised applications, but also excell with groundbreaking single-core performance.

NVIDIA RTX
for gaming and content creation

n order to provide a worthy counterpart to the enormous CPU performance on the graphics card side, the XMG APEX 15 partners with cutting-edge NVIDIA RTX graphics chips in their performance optimized Max-P design. In addition to an RTX 2070, an RTX 2060 can also be selected, in each case in the latest revision.

In combination with the strong processor performance, the laptop is not only aimed at FPS-hungry gamers, but is also the first choice in the field of content creation. Due to their CUDA architecture as well as dedicated RT and tensor cores, the RTX GPUs accelerate computing processes in the fields of raytracing and artificial intelligence.

IPS GAMING DISPLAY

A bright Full HD IPS display provides colour intensive viewing experience including high sRGB colour space coverage. In addition, a refresh rate of 144 Hz provides the optimal basis for an impressively fluid gaming experience. But the display also offers all the features that are important for demanding users: first-class black values and high contrast help to maintain the best possible overview, even in dark gaming scenes.

VARIETY OF CONNECTIONS

As far as connectivity is concerned, the XMG APEX 15 offers a practical variety of different external interfaces. These include four USB ports including USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 as well as HDCP compatible HDMI 2.0 and Mini DisplayPort 1.4, the latter also supporting external 5K resolution.

In addition to a headphone output, there is a separate microphone input and an integrated microSD card reader, which is ideal for easy data exchange using a memory card.

HEAVY-DUTY CHASSIS

The solid chassis of the XMG APEX 15 meets all expectations users have of a robust desktop replacement laptop. In addition to the torsion-resistant base unit, the display lid is made of metal, providing additional stability over a lesser plastic counterpart.

Due to the high 85 percent ratio of the display area, the thin bezel supports the display panel with a modern and minimalistic aesthetic.
